Hello everyone,

Let’s hope there is no snow or ice to keep people from coming out this weekend. We don’t want you to miss out on tasting some of the 2015 Pinots from Ken Wright Cellars. We just received the new releases so thought it would be a great chance to see what the wines are like. They might be a little young but should be great to cellar for a few years. The tasting is this Friday, February 3rd, starting at 5pm. The cost is $10.

We added another tasting for Friday, February 10th when we welcome Chris from Coattails Winery. The Etzel brothers, sons of Mike Etzel of Beaux Freres, have followed in his footsteps making some great wines as well. We feature Pinot Noir and Cabernet from Napa. Come by and taste some great wines.

Join us Friday, February 17th as Renaissance welcomes Brianne Day of Day Wines to the shop to share her wines. I had a chance to taste a couple of the amazing wines from this new winery last week and am excited to have her present all her wines to us.

We will follow that up with a visit from Karl Dinger, owner and winemaker for Terra Vina Wines on Friday, February 24th. It has been far too long since he has stopped in to share his wines. Make plans to taste some of Karl’s new releases.

Renaissance is excited to once again welcome our friends from Podere Ruggeri Corsini back to the shop on Friday, March 3. It is always a great event and feel fortunate they have chosen us for one of their tasting events. Their small family winery produces some of our favorite wines from Piedmont.

Doug and C&G Wines comes back to the shop on Friday March 10 to show another selection of exceptional whites from Sancere, Rhone, Burgundy, Chablis and a few others. This was quite a successful event last year so I thought it is a great idea to make this another regular tasting to learn about some of the great white wines of France,

Thank you for your support of small business in your local community. Share our email and like us on Facebook so we can continue to spread the word about us.

Enjoy and see you at the shop!
